artrage

we have a class called 'digital design', where we mainly learn to use flash. another program we use is the free drawing program artrage, and our teacher asked us to do a few (self)portraits. this is one i'm not too displeased with.

metro book (last post about this, i swear)

this is the final result of the metro project, a hardcover bok with the ilustrations and a map. music is 'mykonos' by fleet foxes.

i'm posting these to give you an idea of the actual illustrations, since my previous posts all included photos of a pretty poor quality. i couldn't just scan them because they were A3 size (and also because my scanner just doesn't work anymore)

a video of the book (it's done!) follows as soon as there is enough daylight to make it.

a day in a life

this is an illustration assignment in collaboration with ringling college of art and design. we had to describe a day in our life through one or more images. i started cutting these papers and i kind of like the result, but i wish i had the time to redo the first two ones and make them more of a whole, like the third one.

the hand is not mine but michelle's, she volunteered to help me dowument my work. it also gives an idea of the size.
