Felt Patches for sale!

I am currently selling custom made felt patches, like these:

The patches are around 8 cm/3 inches at their widest point. I can make (almost) any animal and have quite a few colour options available. The patches cost 8 euros/10 dollars each + shipping. Contact me for more information!

since no one in my family cares enough to read this blog (boo hoo, just kidding, they don't know about it) i will be able to post some of the christmas presents i make them:

i found a pattern for an owl on the same site, which ended up like this, for my mother:


the stitching on the seams is still a bit wonky, but i like how he turned out in the end. then i made my stepsister a bracelet (out of an old shirtcuff, decorated with some leftover fabric):


don't mind the writing on my hand, it was a reminder so i wouldn't forget i had to go teaching.

that's all for now, i have to make four more presents for the rest of my family... busy days coming!

shoes

recently, i bought some very cheap black canvas sneakers and decided i waned to do something with it. they hardly cost me any money so it wouldn't be too bad if i messed up. i tried a few different things and came up with this:


the kitties are based on a pattern on a beret i love, even though it's wool (can't stand it on my skin) and too small.

a few weeks ago, i got hold of an old white shirt and wondered what to do with it. the answer came pretty soon: i cut off the sleeves and created a waistline to make it into a nice summer top. here's the result:
it's very easy to make, i'll post a tutorial later today.

i've revently started to use a needle and colored thread again to decorate things... hope to get better at it soon.
